If you guys saw this week’s “Entertainment Weekly” with Tina Fey on the cover, then you saw me and my Fall TV obsession in the Feedback section!
Every year, the Paley Center in NY and LA has screenings and events to promote the new Fall pilots from the broadcast networks. Each network gets their own night (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and The CW) and I was able to go to three of them. Here’s what I thought, on a scale of 1 to 5 TV sets:
The New Normal… 4 TV sets
Go On… 4 TV sets
Revolution… 3.5 TV sets
Chicago Fire… 2.5 TV sets
Animal Practice… 1 TV set (ugh, awful)
Guys with Kids… 1 TV set (I don’t even remember it)
Elementary… 4 TV sets
Made in Jersey… 4 TV sets
Partners… 2 TV sets (I’m being nice here)
Vegas… 1 TV set (sooooo boringggggggg)
Nashville… 4.5 TV sets
666 Park Ave… 4 TV sets
Last Resort… 2 TV sets (again, I’m being nice here… this was kind of a big mess)
The Neighbors… 1 TV set (so terrible, the Paley Center didn’t even play it)
The Mindy Project… 4 TV sets
Ben and Kate… 4 TV sets
The Mob Doctor… ?? (I actually didn’t see this one, but I’ve heard it’s bad)
I missed this night of Paley Fest, so I can’t give Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, and Emily Owens MD my grades until they premiere in October! Has anyone see them yet?
What do you guys think? What are the best and worst new shows this fall? Am I completely wrong about some of these? Leave some comments!
